Im backkkk

Hi all,

My, my.. How life drags us around and plays with us like we were leaves in the wind.

I had been dragged from my GUA project kicking and screaming as office work & a book project have taken up all of my time.

But being as dedicated (& Stubborn) as I am, I have found a way back to GUA; as in life many things remain higher priority and with sparing some extra time, concern & a little effort we all can work together to better ourselves and our planet one step at a time.

A while back on the web I saw a discussion taking place on an open board between 4 people; the discussion was all about a posted photo of the worlds leaders that showed them aged (15 to 20 years older) and wrote: "I'm Sorry, we could have stopped catastrophic climate change but didn't." Which I am sure most of you have seen and know it was an ad for Copenhagen 2009 summit meeting.

Now two of these people were for "stopping climate change" and two believed that it is all a big "hoax". I went back to the discussion for a few days to watch them battling it out, all defending their views and shouting the loudest why each of them is correct and the other wrong.

Then I decided, hey, I want in :)

So I signed in and posted one message that I believe pacified each and every one of them long enough to calm down and realize that rather then arguing, perhaps it was time for some useful idea making.

This more or less is what I wrote:

"It isn't a matter of "climate change" it is just a waste of our natural resources... What happens once they run out? Wouldn't we want practical alternatives? Wouldn't we like to evolve just a little?

It might not have been much, but I was pleased enough that the small group of opponents suddenly began to search for and discuss possible solutions without all the previous unnecessary talk.

You see good natured, bad natured, social or not, all it takes is the will to drive ourselves out of that box we feel trapped in and let our imaginations, creativity and resourcefulness be our guides into a better, cleaner, more loving world.
